Welcome to the Barn!

I search attics, barns, auctions, flea markets and garage sales for antique and vintage furniture. I repurpose and refurbish these pieces to give them a new life....from another time to another place! The inspiration for any piece of furniture begins with the piece itself. As I work with each piece its use and purpose develops as does the color and the finished look. I am not an interior designer, just a lover of beautiful treasurers which is why I consider myself a treasure broker with a lot of whimsical style!!

MY STORY
I began working on furniture when I was in college "over 20 years ago". I dabbled with a few pieces throughout the years when my children were young because my time was devoted to developing my early childhood management skills!! Within the past 10 years I have worked to develop my skills and my personal style. I have learned to look at the bones of a piece and to see the beauty within. Most recently, I have been designing furniture where I combine multiple pieces, both antique and vintage, to create a new and more functional piece. In addition to repurposing, refurbishing and designing furniture, I have been creating home decor pieces which compliment my furniture. Most of all, I work with clients to create rooms which make a statement about their style.

I love what I do and I hope that you see that in all of my furniture pieces!

LOCATED
I design, work and showcase all of my pieces from my home in Saegertown, PA.
My shop, also known at the Barn, is located a short 2 hour drive from Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Buffalo and approximately 3 hours from Columbus, Ohio

TAX

All sales are subject to 6% PA sales tax.

SHIPPING
I currently do not ship my furniture pieces, however for a larger piece of furniture I will make local deliveries within a 20 mile radius of my shop.

I will not ship mirrors or flowers due to the packaging required.

Please call for more information and prices for deliveries beyond the local delivery area.

This primitive cabinet is painted tan with nice details on the doors. The inside of the cabinet is natural. The doors have a wooden latch on the inside with an original latch n the outside.

This antique wash stand has been painted a creamy white, distressed and glazed along with a medium stain on top. The wash stand also has porcelin wheels.

The bench was made from an antique rope bed and still has the knobs which were used to the robe which held the bedding. The seat is made from hickory and the bench is painted white along with being lightly distressed.
